There is no fee for a library card for Wisconsin residents. It can be used at any of 28 public libraries and their branches in the five-county service area of the Southwest Wisconsin Library System. Your library card gives you access to the library’s 24/7 online catalog where you can place and manage your own requests.
Non-Wisconsin (out of state) residents are welcome to use the resources in the McCoy Public Library, but are assessed a fee for a library card depending on the level of access they would like to enjoy. Please contact the library for details.
If you do not already have a library card, you can start the process here: https://swls.agverso.com/signup/lib?cid=swls&lid=shull. This card will be active for 30 days, during which time you’ll need to visit your local library to verify your address and contact information and to receive your permanent library card. Please bring proof of address (via ID or mail) the first time you visit a library to get your permanent card. Minors must bring a parent or guardian to complete library card registration.
